Due to the tub design and the track system with 8 tires, this unit is able to walk into some very wet muskeg or marshes, providing an organic layer is present to support the weight. The tub also acts like a hydraulic oil spill containment.
The muskeg drill is remote controlled/walk behind and weighs around 3,200lbs. The ground pressure is 1.2 lbs per square inch. It also has incredible climbing capabilities. The Muskeg Support Unit has the same qualities and can carry a water tank or an air compressor to run a DTH air hammer. This unit is ideal for any drilling application in muskeg or very wet conditions and is also BC Approved.
